THE ULTIMATE SOCIAL MEDIA MONITORING TRAINING SESSION

Following on from Monitoring Social Media – San Francisco, Influence People is hosting a half-day social media monitoring and measurement training bootcamp on 22nd October 2010.
Monitoring Social Media Bootcamp is the ultimate “how to” training event for companies and organisations seeking to monitor the social web and measure the effects of their interactions. Through a series of practical workshops, hosted by some of the world’s leading social media monitoring experts, attendees will learn how to use the latest technologies and techniques to maximise their returns from social media and minimise the risks to their brand and reputation.

You can buy your ticket to the Bootcamp here, but if you’re planning to come to the conference on 21st October too, you can buy both tickets (at a reduced price) on the Monitoring Social Media San Francisco website.

Programme Highlights
  • Monitoring Solutions Q&A
Everything you’ve always wanted to ask a social media monitoring solution provider, but we’re afraid to ask! Two of the leading solution vendors, Radian6 and Brandwatch, answer your questions on what to monitor, how to measure results, what works and what doesn’t.
  • Workshops: Monitoring for SMBs / Monitoring for Major Brands
In this session we’ll split into two groups: those that want to learn about monitoring for SMBs, and those that are interested in monitoring for large brands. Each workshop will provide practical guidance on issues such as: how to create complex search queries, how use monitoring to grow your network, and how to measure ROI.
  • Discussion: Tools, Data & Methodologies
Join our expert panel, including Marcel Lebrun (CEO, Radian6) and Giles Palmer (Managing Director, Brandwatch) for a frank, informal discussion about which tools and methodologies are best for different aspects of monitoring. We’ll explore issues of data access and quality, sentiment detection, influence analysis, social CRM, workflows and workload.
  • Live Analysis: Tracking our Own Buzz
In this fun session we’ll analyse the online buzz around this series of social media monitoring events, including Boston, San Francisco, New York, London and Paris. We will try to highlight which marketing activities worked (and which didn’t), identify key influencers and popular keywords and benchmark our “share of conversation” in the monitoring space.
  • Workshops: Monitoring and Measurement Problem Solving
In this 1h 30min session we’ll split into teams, each led by an expert host, to solve a specific monitoring or measurement problem raised by a member of the team. Through a process of discussion and brainstorming each team will set out a framework to solve the problem. The Problem “owner” and Team Host will then present the solution to the main group.
